Just all ironed out and ready to go. Succulent, bright, smooth on both ends and through the middle.

Argiano always such a jewel in great years, and this one has finally emerged from an awkward spell. Floral and dry as a bone, seamless, great purity and notes of sweet oak and sour cherry. Ready to go with a 45 min decant, years ahead though.

Hints of raisin and spice. Full and velvety mouthfeel producing a rich and long finish.

A true pleasure to drink! I'm a huge fan of Antonio Argiano and this may be one of his better creations. Allow at least a hour to open up. More review coming.

Tomato paste and coffee grinds - acid and tannins need time to integrate but couldn't resist

More restrained than the '09 but has solid bones. One for the longer haul.

Last lunch ever at Paolo's in SJ. :-( Popped and poured. Dark ruby red. Almost opaque. Vibrant in the glass. A nose of black cherry and chicory. In the mouth, it shows great intensity and evolves nicely with air. Great vino with my last pappardelle a bolognese. After 20 yrs I'll miss this.

Dense black cherry, cedar, earthiness and a sanguine or iron minerality to the wine. . Silky smooth with nearly invisible tannins except that you can tell it's well structured. Gets better quickly with a bit of air and shows an added dimension of anise. Really special stuff! 2010
