Happy Mother's Day...from MAG...go big or go home.

1 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A marvelous medium dark ruby red color with some bricking. On the nose: subtle notes of black cherry, cinnamon, sweet aged cab perfume, vanilla, eucalyptus. Taste: silky smooth, soft, juicy wine with dark cherry/plum, currants, milk chocolate, little spiced herbs, and a earthy espresso long finish. It's the entire package! Big YUM tonight.

Tried this magnum wine about a year ago and now again this Mother’s Day— what a treat! A brilliant ruby red and with some bricking. Black cherry fruit, cassis, perfume and vanilla on the nose stand out followed by scents of cinnamon and eucalyptus. Taste — Smooth and juicy with fruit definitely present still. Initial flavors of cherry and plum, currants and milk chocolate sit on the palate with earthy notes of rock, herbs and espresso adding to its long finish. A wonderful Mother’s Day wine gift from my husband!

On the nose: a soft but beautiful nose of dark berries, eucalyptus, spice, burnt carmel, and that aged cab perfume. Taste: KABOOM! rich, smooth, velvety well balanced full body wine with black cherry, herbs, currants, wet stones, dark chocolate with a spicy Toffee long finish! YUM! Drinking great now with at least another 5 years to go.

Smell is muted. Some fruit but definitely insignificant.
Taste is full mouth, bold, good dark round fruits Quite smooth. The finish is a little minerally. 9.3.
