NV Ravia Pálava, Morava, #Czech Repiblic. My first Czech wine! The grape Pálava is a cross of Gewürztraminer and Muller Thurgau and this shows some qualities of both. Slightly floral aromas with ripe pear, honeydew melon and a faint ginged spice. Soft and dry finish with mineral notes; medium-bodied. NV Barborka Rulandské Šedé from Velké Pavlovice, #Czech Republic. Rulandské Šedé is Pinot Gris. Quite one dimensional and uninteresting. Green fruit and citrus notes with a soft, round finish; medium body. ABV 11%. I suppose it's fine for roughly 5 USD.
