Just a kick ass cab franc. Amirault is a very predictable producer and have enjoyed all his wines so far. For the price, it's also a great value - ripe fruit, bit of flint, smoke, and moss, moderate tannins. This has become an everyday excellent dinner wine. — 10 years ago

Normally a Merlot from Sonoma I would have zero interest in but WOW! This wine is amazing, vanilla, leather, and subtly smoke on the nose. Medium to heavy body on the palate. Nice mint tobacco finish with a well balanced mixed of tannins on the finish. Moon Mountain AVA is the next big thing! — 10 years ago
