It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Deep ink color with a short purple rim and a beautiful nose.
Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.
Dry and very fruity on the palate, with nice complexity.
Showing blueberries, plums, cooked cherries, cola, raisins, figs, chocolates, dark coffee, cedar, vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus and peppercorn.
This 10 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking so beautifully now. Rich and extracted, with a soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward and engaging.
Needs an hour to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Wine Spectator 94 points. Wine Advocate 98 points.
Complex and good by itself. Will pair nicely with a big piece of steak. A gorgeous wine.
14.6% alcohol by volume.
95 points.

Smooth, not too creamy but a little butterscotch — 5 months ago
That’s US Cab! Oak, black currant, blueberry and cherry. Vanilla, a bit spicy. Aroma came out from one hour, fruitiness came from two hours. Directly imported from CA. 2015, even rounded. @, Kayab, 231005 — 8 months ago
NY state Riesling pop n pour. Crisp and limey, though fairly simple. — 2 years ago
Delish as usual — 4 years ago
The wines are the result of a shared passion of three winemakers: Paul Hobbs & Argentine parters Andrea Marchiori & Luis Barraud. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and pepper spice. Good balance fine tannins, lingering ending with fruit and sweet herb character. Nice, small production. — 5 years ago
Dinner wine with anything. Serve it up to me, I’m drinking it. — 6 years ago
Good stuff. Tastes like CA meets OR on pinot — fruit and funk. — 6 months ago

Great CA pinot. Aged beautifully. Red fruit mint still showing through. Color moved off the bright ruby and edging to garnet. Held up for hours after opening. — 4 months ago
