Had it with a gene and georgetti steak at home..made some nice morel mushrooms and this behemoth didn't disappoint. Paired very well..great finish.got a little of a tobacco backend..but layered and very good. — 10 years ago
Light orange. 9gm/ltr dosage, but sharply focused. Spicy and smoky. At home, BYO tasting and grazing. — 10 years ago
Great feel on the palette with a not too heavy oakiness. Nice tannins without overpowering the flavor. Wonderful dryness that is at home simply paired with a nice cheese, with conversation, or with a nice steak! — 11 years ago
Has been a while since we've had the '07. It was great to find it at our small local Italian restaurant, especially for way below retail. Purchased the rest to take home to the cellar. Anyways, it is drinking very well. The 07 and 05 are our favorites and about the only Opus we purchase. — 11 years ago
The usually tight tannic punch has faded and melded with the usual Washington velvet, a dark abyss of blackberry, plum, black cherry, it's in a nice place, I honestly wanted the kick in the mouth, but it's more elegant than you would expect. And I'm okay with buying her dinner, cause she delivers! She wore the long dress, thought I'd be looking at a short skirt, but this long dress is taking me home, thanks! She got feisty after she opened up & she delivers impressed! Give it 1hr and she will sing in your ear! — 12 years ago
Excellent rose' for this price point. Equally at home with brunch or as an aperitif. This is a terrific grab and go wine for a gathering with friends, a picnic, or a day at the beach. — 9 years ago

One of the oldest wines I've ever had. When it was bottled I was in college, living at home, and working in a music store (remember those?!?) Fan Fucking Tastic! 🍷😘 — 10 years ago

A delicious well rounded wine. And what a price!! Love it. I’m drinking it at home right now but good enough to take as a hostess gift. — 9 years ago
