What a wine! Hauntingly aromatic. Lots of red and black fruits, sweet almost, violets, roses, pines, herbs, spice. The palate's super concentrated (fruit), licorice, meat, kinda stemmy, hints of (pleasant) greeness. The brett really adds to complexity here. Overall a finely balanced wine that tingles the senses. Would be great to revisit it in a couple of years.

Update: Decanted overnight. Brett was very prominent on the nose. Hmmm. Palate showing more meatiness, cured meat almost. — 10 years ago
