Very smooth, light, well balanced Willamette Pinot Noir at the City Bar at the Lenox Hotel in Boston after World Series game, and at Hobb’s Restaurant in Wells, ME — 7 years ago
Boca wine dinner. Now this was good... Let it sit for an hour and the air creates an entirely different full bodied taste. Planning on trading Wells a bottle of Quilceda Creek Galitzine for this... — 7 years ago
I just finished that wine and I really enjoyed it. It goes wells with red meat as it's served in Steak Brasil. — 9 years ago

Fruit forward, slightly acidic, clean and full berry with clean lingering tannic finish at the end. — 6 years ago
Bright Syrah/Carignane blend, with mild berries and spice, low tannin and acidity, from Languedoc at The Bitter End in Wells, ME — 6 years ago
Nice well balanced Montepulciano at Billy’s Chowder House in Wells, ME — 7 years ago
Cassis soaked cedar staves, a great nose.
Blackberries, mint, tarragon, hints of sage, medium weight, lip smacking choppy bits of oak.
It has been raining for so long, and after bucket emptying full window wells, I wanted a hearty rainy day wine.
This was the year I visited the vineyard, and winery in Tavel. A glass raised for the brother passed, and a tip of the hat to the one that carried on.
Truly, you can never go wrong with any Domain de la Morderee. — 7 years ago

Smooth dark. Must try — 10 years ago
Needs 15 minutes of air time to get the merlot smell and taste going. Overall, very tasty for merlot enthusiasts but it's not an Indian Wells. That is my standard for a weekly merlot purchase in a reasonable price range. — 6 years ago
Fruity Pinot Noir, with mild tannin , at Bitter End, Wells — 6 years ago
Good body, wells balances, rich aromas, good lengua. Overall a good wine a ta great place with fantastic company! — 7 years ago
Dense and aromatic, with ripe blackberry and cassis but no sweetness or syrup. Loads upon a loads of white pepper. Fine tannins. This has aged remarkably well. I have this sense, perhaps mistaken, that Wells basically did a stylistic about face between 2006 and 2007 but perhaps that overstated the case. — 8 years ago
Great with fish and chips at Huxleys — 9 years ago
Dinner with Flora Springs Proprietor John Komes at Toscana Country Club, Indian Wells CA. The 2013 vintage has not been rated and needs maturing but has flavor that may mature to better than the 2012. — 9 years ago
Real funky. Earthy. Pairs wells with a steak. — 10 years ago
