Honey, peaches, kind of like a complex fruit cup syrup mixed with pure gold. These wines are always so sensual. — 6 years ago

La Bastide Blanche

Bandol Mourvèdre Blend Rosé 2018

Delectable Wine
9.2

Vivid orange-pink. Bright, minerally and focused on the highly perfumed nose, displaying fresh blood orange, strawberry and floral aromas that expand steadily with aeration. Energetic and chewy in the mouth, offering concentrated red berry, citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors that show excellent depth and delineation. Closes taut and precise, displaying strong persistence and a resonating floral note. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2019) — 6 years ago

Mine too! I still carry it. I failed to mention I first tasted this at the winery in 2008. The cork was destroyed so I was worried but wow.

Such a beautiful intro to Rheingau Riesling. Lightly off-dry, searing acidity, perfect amount of weight. And the new packaging for this wine is excellent. — 5 years ago

This wine is from my neck of the woods! :) I love living in the Willamette Valley and there's some really amazing wines coming from here!

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2012

I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. Herbaceous, acidic, has some cranberry, almost a ruby red grapefruit thing going on. Not super complex, but also not a new world fruit blast, which is a plus. — 9 years ago
