Fruit forward medium body, best to drink anytime 😀 — 8 years ago
Absolutely delicious. Prefect pair for grilled pork, similar to a dryer Zinfandel. Reasonably full bodied but not so big as to demand a big steak. — 9 years ago

2002. Another favorite of mine! Color is a deep red-purple garnet with some definite bricking. Nose - cherry and currants dominate with a cream brûlée sweetness. Secondary notes of pine, menthol and crushed rock follow. Taste- a creamy and smooth well balanced feel with plum, sour cherry, cigar box, and leather flavors; notes of spice, anise and stone follow giving this wine a medium finish. — 4 years ago
Strong rustic and pine aromatics almost overwhelm at the beginning, before settling down an hour later to allow the mountain fruit and more subtle forest notes to show off. Not hot, great mouthfeel, and a long finish. Even better the next day. — 6 years ago
Spicy with tannin that opened up after time to a softer, more mellow phase. Not a classic but pleasant wine to drink with a steak. — 9 years ago
