This is not the best Walt Pinot but it certainly is better than many others. Red currant & black cherry and some bitter olive oil tones. — 5 years ago
Blueberry blackberry with earth tones — 6 years ago
Generally I pass on California Pinots, however this one is well worth the time — 7 years ago
Whenever we see a Gaps Crown Pinot, we buy it and drink it soon after. Our favorite remains the Walt, but as these are cousins , they shouldn't mind the mention in my review. Raspberries and cassis- and basil, but that might be from my homegrown pesto tonight, not the wine. — 8 years ago
Damn that's a good wine $45 is worth it for the bottle for special occasions. Drank it while doing a cooking class and the only way to describe it is delicious. My girlfriend and I finished the bottle before we even knew it — 9 years ago
Had at Le Cellier in EPCOT. Vineyard is owned by Walt Disney’s daughter. Enjoyed with New York strip. — 6 years ago
Big alcohol but it doesn’t come through on the palate. Nice balance. Good juice! — 6 years ago
Rich oak. Caramel apple 🍎 flavors. Refined palate feel. — 7 years ago
Great fruit, blueberry and other dark notes. A nice big Pinot that has a warmer heartiness to it than most. Subtle finish with good acidity. Will be perfect with some roasted pork and veggies. Quiet family movie night at home.... — 7 years ago
Actually Bob's Ranch vineyard, not Sangiacomo. Excellent chardonnay — 8 years ago

Loads of Cola in this Carneros Pinot. It's big and bold in cherry, some blueberry and dark fruit but has a warmth in its style. Nice Peppery finish. Another gem from the folks at Hall. — 5 years ago
