Discovered at Wally's tasting last week. Really nice structure. A little oxidized with good acidity. 4g/L dosage. Great value for money — 9 years ago
Drinking it on a hut on the beach definitely makes it taste better. Amazing champagne — 9 years ago
2011. Tight and tannic at first, needed 2-3 hour decant to show its true colors. Very subtle aromas of red fruit and cut grass. High-toned acidity, smooth mouthfeel. Classic etna. $55 from Wally's Wine, Los Angeles. — 9 years ago
Oriole with Cici, Kathleen, Lauren . Rich hut nit tannic. Great. — 7 years ago
Uncorked a 3L for our dear friends whom just finished building their badass outdoor Tiki hut and bar! Badass tiki deserves a badass wine. This G Major 7 did the trick. Definitely my favorite from the GARGIULO lineup. Smooth as silk with depth of flavor. The blue fruit is prominently displayed which I adore. Oak is nicely integrated. Awesome finish of 60+ seconds. I buy this stuff automatically by the case load every year. What an incredible steadfast Winery they are! Literally never had a bad vintage. Even my 2011’s were rockstars.
Badass Tiki Hut deserves Badass in a Glass and this did the job! Cheers! 👍🍷🍷👍. — 8 years ago
Had this in the warming hut at Ski Bowl - great winter warmer - caramel and toast — 8 years ago
Tasted at Wally's Andy Erickson event. Fantastic wine by its own merit. All the better that the wine maker is an extra cool, down to earth guy. Big fan. — 9 years ago

Great light crisp wine on a hut summer day. Nice to drink sitting outside enjoying the weather. — 7 years ago
From Magnum bought at Wally's in LA years ago. Earth and coffee notes. Herbaceous undertones which perhaps disturbed in previous years fully resolved. Still great the next day. Plenty of tannins left for more years to come although i think this wine is at its peak now. Dark tart blackberries and chalk. The 2006 is mostly gone based on wine searcher. — 8 years ago
Unoaked and very good! Great pick tonight! — 8 years ago
2009 Sheridan Cab Franc
I liked this. Great fruint and concentration. Drinking it now it is clearly a little early. This will be better in a few years. Great stuff hut a little rough around the edges. If another 5 years calms it down and adds some grace it will be killer stuff. — 9 years ago
2007. Racy acidity and gripping tannins. Cranberry and blackberry. Darker than a typical Etna rosso. $30 from Wally's Wine, Los Angeles. — 9 years ago
Joe Gillies
Ok so probably a bit overkill for pizza hut dinner at home with the kids but this was a random grab by my wife. This is really good for $20. Compares to other wines 2-3x its price. BlackBerry, black currant, tobacco, and lavender. — 6 years ago
