Big and strong purple-crimson Shiraz that is clearly from McLaren Vale. Dark fruit profile (blueberry and blackberry jam) with hints of chocolate, violet and licorice. Smoke and black pepper aromas. Full bodied and almost chewy. Powerful but fresh. Michael Twelftree made the best out of a tough vintage.
