Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak I’m going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. — 8 months ago
Syrah on the smokier side. Great note bbq is presume. — 3 months ago
This is nicely done. A bit on the “in your face” side, it’s got loads of rich, plummy Merlot fruit, a fair whack of French oak, and loamy earth notes. Rich, darkly fruity, a bit chocolatey in the mouth. Still a fair amount of soft, side-of-the-mouth-clingy tannin left. More youthful than its 12-year age. 15% alcohol. I prefer a slightly more reserved style, but this is impressive in its own way. — 5 months ago
Lots of cherry for me, medium body. Delicious. — 9 months ago

Lush and velvety with dark berries and herbs, just really keeps your tongue active picking out all the different layers. Fantastic and can lay down for a bother 10 years no issue! — 6 months ago

For a merlot, good balance. Still a little jammy for me but good for a Merlot. — 9 months ago

Garnet red, very good clarity, moderate to high pigment extraction. Luscious red fruit initially with a touch of black fruit on the finish. Light acid, good body, not too alcoholic. After 30 minutes caramel with a touch of eucalyptus and cola emerge while cherry recedes and blackberry undercurrent remains. 24 hours later, fruit flavors integrate with barrel flavors: cranberry, caramel, cherry and eucalyptus cough syrup. Nice complexity but decant to get there, requires patience. Moderate skin astringency on finish may lose some people but it adds to the complexity favorably for me. — 3 days ago
