Delicious wine, lot’s of red fruit, medium bodied and very balanced with good acidity and approachable tannins. Drank side to side with the 2017 and we preferred the 2016 at this stage.

Nez de fruits rouges surtout. La bouche est savoureuse, équilibrée, acidité vive et tannins fondus et veloutés, très bel équilibre. Dégusté sur deux jours avec le 2017 et nous avons préféré le 2016 légèrement. 90-91 — 5 years ago

A winegrower that I have been following with passion for several years: Explosive bouquet of fruits and flowers, enhanced with cinnamon notes. A "natural" Beaujolais Gamay, light and crunchy in the first hours after opening. Then the wine unfolds and unfolds again. After 12 hours, the wine is round. The acidity is lively and the tannins are both tight and opulent. It is delicate and full. Wonderful on a home-made marguerita pizza (with arugula).

Un vigneron que je suis depuis quelques années avec passion. Bouquet explosif de fruits et de fleurs, rehaussé de notes cannelées. Un gamay « nature » du Beaujolais, léger et croquant au premières heures après l’ouverture. Puis le vin se déploie et se déploie encore. Après 12h on a un vin rond, ample, l’acidité est vive et les tanins sont à la fois serrés et opulents. C’est fin délicat et ample. Magnifique sur une pizza marguerita home-made (avec de la roquette). — 4 years ago

Disgorged September 2018. A beautiful nose of white fruit, pastry, slightly toasted with custard hints (English cream), it also develops with more complexity with time in the glass and some air. The palate is superb, crisp acidity, it is mineral, such purity and precision, with lots of class and such elegance, beautiful .

Un beau nez agréable moyennement aromatique de fruits blancs, avec un côté brioché et de crème Anglaise presque et qui se développe avec de l’air de façon de plus en plus complexe. La bouche est superbe, acidité vive, assez droite, la bouche est très fine, précise, minérale et très pure, beaucoup de classe. 92-93 — 5 years ago

Color has slight greenish tones. Very nice nose, iodine, lemon zest, touch of almonds too and sea shells that are also on the palate. Very Chablis style with energy and an edgy acidity, mineral and saline with great length, delicious.

Couleur dorée avec de légers reflets verdâtres, très Droin comme couleur. Un beau nez typé avec des notes salines et iodées, coquillages, zeste de citron, et des amandes. Une bouche très Chablisienne, acidité vive, sans être tranchante, belle énergie, minéral et salin sur cette finale très longue. 92-93 — 4 years ago

As a Veteran, a nice gift from my Sister in law and her beau. Easy drinking Cabernet with strong dark fruit and some pepper. I thought it was a little sweet on 1st sip but it settled. My first wine from the Savoie District in south eastern France near the foothills of the Alps. Thanks @Anthony Lombardi to awakening me to this district. Mondeuse performs well here. This wine had earthy mocha notes with a hint of tar. Barely medium weight , lacking in mid palate fruit power like we see in the Barossa for example coming from a much cooler environment here in Savoie. We see very little Mondeuse in Australia - Brown Brothers used to use it in a blend with Shiraz which was very long lived. Ultra Savoury and very good. Vive Le Difference! — 8 years ago
