YOU GUYS INTO HAVING YOUR MINDS BLOWN? 🤔 Something ridiculous like 10 pounds of 🥕 are required for *one* bottle at 375mL. Reisetbauer somehow captured the soul of these carrots and trapped it in a bottle like a genie in a lamp. Unreal. — 10 years ago
Perfect for a summer Sunday night, with pasta on the stove and tunes on the turntable. — 10 years ago
Strong, add a 1/2 oz to a cocktail to add a forest character. Very clean and refreshing. — 11 years ago
2013 - Delicious. Subtle oak ageing really brings this wine together. Smooth, buttery, floral, but a freshness and acidity which shows the care of winemaking.
2008 - nice, but not as good as the 2007. rich, some minerality coming through which lingers long after the first sip. A bit flabby.
2007 - much stonier, drier and cleaner on the nose. Lively acidity driven by minerality. Really lovely. — 11 years ago

Never been a big Pinot fan but this was fantastic. — 12 years ago
My previous notes are listed with a click on the photo & a short scroll. I opened this bottle four hours ago. It tasted past it’s prime from the bottle we had several weeks ago. This bottle showed lots of figs, dates, prunes & Eau de Vie Brandy/Cognac. It took four hours open in bottle to get back to my previous notes that I made nearly two months ago. Now, it’s beautiful dark, rich, beautiful Cabernet. If your well stored 87 BV Rutherford tastes over the hill upon opening, I wouldn’t decant it...that would be too much air for this bottling. I would open the bottle for an hour and let it stand. Then, pour into a glass for fifteen to twenty minutes and serve. It recovers magnificently. Deliciously perfect after nearly 30 years in the bottle. For the two of us, our last pour tastes like our previous bottle did after four hours being open in bottle. A splendid recent purchase for less than $50. — 8 years ago

Non-vintage sparkling wine from the Loire Valley, France. Fruity and light with strong citrus notes. A little sweet, but deliciously refreshing. — 9 years ago
The fresh mowed grass from a couple months ago has dissipated replaced with more white flowers. Great SB — 10 years ago
Like distilling a Dutch apple pie. — 11 years ago
Hennessy Richard. 40 - 200 year old eaux du vie in the blend. Amber-Brown in the glass. Super soft on the palate with a big caramel note. No detectable alcohol flavors. Nice nutmeg and spice on the finish. Impeccable. — 11 years ago
Excellent... Great alternative to a sweet Limoncello — 12 years ago
Tight on the first night but really opened up on the second. Lean style, with lemon, minerals, hints of melon and a saline note. Full in the mouth and long on the finish, I think this fills out and softens a bit with age. Definite winner... — 12 years ago
RUN to get that wine if you can. A revelation — 13 years ago
This is an extremely nice Syrah with a great finish. Cherry, leather, spices will all linger nicely as you drink this wine. — 9 years ago
Rose wine. Has berry, oak and nutty aroma with a sparkling finish. — 10 years ago
Really nice northern rhone, though had straight from bottle and could have used 1+ hr decant. Excellent dark fruit and earth, with a fine texture until the very end where the tannins are not quite integrated / a bit rough. Still good acid to keep it fresh, but would love to try in 3-5 years. Had at La Bourse et la Vie in Paris. — 10 years ago
Amazing red. One of the best reds in BC. Dark cherry, plum, spice. Needs a meal with it. Divine! — 10 years ago
Tight, but a surprisingly nice balance of fruit/floral with acidity. #italia — 11 years ago
intense flowers and stony length. sure does help to pay only 30 euro for it at a small restaurant off beaten path in Venice. — 11 years ago
A nice Rioja that is nice on the pallets with soft, almost buttery finish notes and a nice bouqet. Easy to drink and presents well with a good meal. Some folks think of flamingo dancers when they think of Spain - I only think of Rioja and the great grapes coming from an often overlooked region via a vis its famous neighbour to the north. — 12 years ago
This eau-de-vie warms the soul with a sweet pear flavor. — 12 years ago

Pale orange. Vibrant strawberry and blood orange scents, along with hints of pungent flowers and succulent herbs. Dry, nervy and focused on the palate, displaying energetic, mineral-laced red berry, tangerine and floral qualities that deepen steadily on the back half. Finishes brisk and quite long, displaying lingering spiciness and a touch of bitter orange pith. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2018) — 8 years ago
