Absolute stunner. White pepper crushed red berries with direct salinity. Rosesse blend.12.5 abv, $21 @slopecellars — 8 years ago
A six year old Vio that is still showing major youth. Still has a stoney grey straw hue. Bursting with peach and dry field flowers. Bright on attack and mid but has a beautiful touch of roundness and weight on finish that lingers dry stone. Man, quenching my thirst on this hot Ojai day. — 9 years ago
This one needs a LOT of time, but patience is definitely rewarded — 9 years ago
Nice fresh wine that will go great with fish dishes. — 9 years ago
About as floral as a Cali vio can be. Pride is on the mtn separating Napa and Sonoma (literally the wine sits half in half out). Sour sunflowers. Chamomile, white peaches. — 8 years ago
I look forward to alban vio every year. This one doesn't disappoint. — 8 years ago
We blinded this at work last week and had some fun bc it wasn't like my typical stuff. With some time in Oak and some Vio blended it's not like 90% of SB you stumble on. I don't love it, this btl was a gift and I won't ever rebuy it but it was fun to go outside my bubble and it is a solid, pleasant tasting, good wine. — 8 years ago
Wonderfully simple vio. — 9 years ago
Some fun complexity here but not loving the 14.7alc. Rous,Vio,Gren,Chrd. Made WS top 100 at 29 which I may not agree with but I appreciate the wine. Another I'd like to revisit down the road. KL — 9 years ago
Pretty cool old vio - @Jack Edwards you know this one ? — 9 years ago
I have a soft spot for this particular Vio, enjoyed the '10 & '12 and now the '14 follows suit. — 9 years ago
Buttery aromas, rich with toasted vanilla hints. Lush richness on the pallet with a viscous mouthful, in a traditional vio style. Camomile and honey flavors. Nice wine — 9 years ago

Did you say OAK?!!!! Some florals hiding behind said oak thanks to the Vio. — 8 years ago
