Great wine @ great value — 10 years ago
Closed at first. It's a little young but great potential for aging. Loved the barn aromas - hay, saw dust, leather. Earthy notes, grape vine tomatoes, mushrooms, red fruits, spicy notes and nutmeg. High acidity. Well balance and elegant. Pairs with Italian foods (tomato and cream based). — 10 years ago
Grapes from the Concannon clones 7 and 8 are included in this "Mother Vine" Cab which give it aromas of black cherry and blueberry. It has blackberry, black current and plum flavors with a smooth finish. Anything from the Mother Vine at Concannon is good vino. — 11 years ago
What an incredible Pinot Noir! It will take you on a wild red fruit journey, with twists and turns into middle earth. This is one of my top 10 wines of 2014! (October 30, 2014, San Francisco, CA) #redwines #pinotnoirs #centralcoast #californiawines — 12 years ago
Red wine from the Umbrian region of Italy. Favorite wine I had in Italy, will have to go back to Assisi for this — 13 years ago
Great winery. This is just one of their two Zinfandels to chose from. Very chocolately and well rounded. Offered here at the Wine Company @ San Clemente for around $23/ bottle. Absolutely delicious. — 14 years ago
Was not spicy at all but had great flavor! Glad I branched out to try it — 9 years ago
Crooked Vine is my second favorite Cab. It's been a while since I had a bottle, but it is a nice complex Cab. — 10 years ago
Great Zin! Not so fruit forward, a little white pepper with fruit on the end. I couldn't believe it lasted as long as it did. Probably the size of the bottle. — 11 years ago
A great find at our hotel. A jammy Lodi Zin. Lots of berry with a very smooth finish. Have enjoyed as my nightcap every night in San Fransisco. — 11 years ago
Was in this incredible old vine Grenache vineyard in Calatayud, Spain a couple of years ago, always makes@the wine taste better. Great everyday red, dark and jammy but still high in acidity, love it with anything off the grill. — 11 years ago
What a deal. Great all the way through, raspberries popping off with some old world old vine complexity all the way down. Very well integrated oak. Really nice for 10 bucks and will certainly buy again. — 12 years ago
