Vinca minor babrak vineyard merlot/cab franc. 2014. Just a ton of wet stone, dried cranberries, and pepper. Aftertaste has a jolly rancher cherry quality. Interested to see how this evolves overnight. — 8 years ago
Clove, fraises des bois. Carbonic, but done very nicely and carefully. Fresh, lots of lift, very Loire-like. First rate! — 9 years ago
Very fine Rose. Yum. — 9 years ago
Nose has blood orange flesh, cut strawberries, wet sand and dried orange pith.
Palate has ripe strawberry, squeeze of orange, lemon zest, ripe peach peel and minor mineral notes. Medium finish, uncomplicated and easily enjoyable.
This bottle is in a nice spot at two years past current vintage. Can hold until 2022-ish, of anyone has that level of patience for a fun Beaujolais rosé! — 4 years ago
Nice bold taste - cherry taste - bought at hy vee 12.99 — 4 years ago
Happy Halloween to all! No spooky bottles in our cellar, but I do have this delicious rosé!
Prior notes still apply.
A beautiful Kimmeridgian soiled Pinot Noir! Very round and beautiful on the palate, all stainless in the process so very clean fruits. Cherry skin, minor orange zest, green melon, light tannins, very enjoyable strawberry finish, great value as a neighbor to Sancerre for under $15. — 6 years ago
Smokehouse berry nose with piney undertones. Big holiday berry mouth upfront with a soft long finish. Pleasing way to begin a winter night. — 6 years ago
Beautiful lighter bodied cab. I get tart cherries and a ton of floral notes, ?linden?. A touch of herbaceous tones. Really well balanced and approachable now. — 8 years ago
70% Zinfandel from Anderson Valley & 30% whole cluster Carignan/Petite Sirah. Pure red and blue fruits, forest floor and bright herbs. — 8 years ago

Loads of zing and zest. — 7 years ago
Deliciously refreshing yet savory. Lighter on its feet than the blend would suggest. Very pretty. — 8 years ago
Wow. Nose invites with subtle fruit, mouth is light - less earthy than some, crisp finish. This darling has a minor spice that fades quickly, leaving me want another — 8 years ago
Lovely deep purple colour with a blackcurrant nose with hints of chocolate and undergrowth. Very smooth and quaffable - almost like drinking Ribena! Perhaps a hint of chocolate and herbs with the blackcurrant and plum. A certain sweetness on the aftertaste and a lack of "bottom" are my minor quibbles — 9 years ago
Amazing nectar I tasted during Bordeaux Tasting 2014 !! — 9 years ago

Nose has grilled lemon, baked green apple with sugar and wet granite, the French oak regimen seems a little more dominant then to my liking.
Palate has lemon juiced over cut green apple, lemon zest, decent FLX terrior with minor salinity and dry soil.
A young bottle, as I still complain about 2017 Chablis being too sharp and needing much more time. No overloaded acidity here, but I do see potential in this bottle for pleasant development in another 4-6 years. — 4 years ago
