Deep amber color shows her double oak nature. Nose of fragrant ester, green apple, oak, and hint of toffee. Very powerful nose. Taste is a dance of hot spice with creamy caramel, around this is some milky vanilla, apple, and chocolate note. Aftertaste is a pleasure with milk chocolate-like sweetness, a bit minty, dried figs, and powerful hot spice at the throats. This is a bold but well polished whiskey. — 9 years ago

Deep amber color showing her double cask feature. Nose of sweet apple cider, ester, a bit oak and cedar, smooth, and warm. Taste of nice peaty note, with spice coming next. Dried fruit like figs shows up deep on the rim and back of the tongue. Toffee and brown sugar like scarf wrap the tongue with softness. Aftertaste of dried fruit and baked apple. Light tropical fruit on the nose with some ketone/ester/alcohol the slightly tingles. Stupidly well balanced for a tipa, no alcohol burn and not syrupy. There is a moderate thickness to the mouth feel, slight carbonation and a good lacing on the glass. I get a little wave of tropical fruits and a nice warm finish.
