Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 8 years ago
So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 8 years ago
Red fruit up front, fairly big body, sour and refreshing — 9 years ago
Lovely rose for the $10 price tag! — 10 years ago

A very good white for barbecue chicken for all your white wine only guests. — 11 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 11 years ago
Red berries, pinks, lavender. Truly in a nice place. — 12 years ago
Lovely with fried chicken. — 13 years ago
👍🏻👍🏻 delicious Gascogne white. Mineraly with some hint of Tuscan melon and a Meyer lemon kiss 💋 in the end. — 7 years ago
D'abord des fruits puis la réglisse, équilibre... Plaisir ! Exceptionnel. — 8 years ago
Bright, light, just a little fruity. From big nose full body — 8 years ago
Color is a peachy blush, like Cover Girl from the 90s. Very slight orange tint. I’m drinking this a day old, so fragrance isn’t so pungent: smells like outdoor seating at a white tablecloth restaurant with white flowers, with an elegant woman sitting two seats behind you wearing Crepe de Chine or Amal Goutal— something classic. Also has an undercurrent of Lemonheads (chemical citrus) smell as well. Taste is surprising, not acidic but still dry/not sweet— caramel-like, with peachy strawberry taste and a short finish. Kind of has the taste of a merlot inhabiting a rose. It’s really nice. I often don’t like rose because it’s too sweet or too dry or always somehow tastes too similar... but this one was special. Perhaps one of my faves of the summer. — 8 years ago
Welp...damn! — 10 years ago
Fruit forward, but mostly balanced with minerals, acidity, and a tinge of tannins. — 10 years ago

Tennis ball scent, pepper start. Final prune taste, spicy notes and oak finish. Medium to full body. Great wine!!! — 13 years ago
Great alternative to Sauv blanc. Fresh and citrusy. My new $10 table wine. Great bargain from SW France. — 13 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 8 years ago
Peppery fruit and bit of funk — 8 years ago
Excellent Gascogne Ugni/Colombard blend. Super fresh, with lemon, tangerine, & floral accents. Great for a warm SoCal "fall" night. — 9 years ago
Cat pee and grass on the nose, which moves into grapefruit and minerality. Grapefruit in the flavor, quaint and tasty. Grassy, too. Smooth texture and not too acidic. Very nice. — 10 years ago
Acidic. Dry finish. Minerally. Pairs well with food. — 10 years ago
джем из садовой вишни, с нотами лакрицы и розового перца, оттенки сухой пыльной земли. Много остаточного алкоголя, кислотность низкая; полнотелое, можно еще подождать — 10 years ago
What a fun, inexpensive gem. — 11 years ago
Great value. Soft fruit — 12 years ago

Seems more Ugni Blanc than Chardonnay is this one. I had fish tonight. This was it was a better pairing than Charlie’s Angels. The TV show. Never seen the movies. — 7 years ago
