Super delicious fancy with the slightest effervescence and funk to make it distinctive while still mindlessly enjoyable. — 7 years ago

This wine isn’t super aromatic to me... but that doesn’t matter. A gorgeous peach blush color, unfiltered, and perfect amount of light fizz. You can taste the lingering character of the Pinot noir, but as if it’s floating off in an ocean breeze. There is a short finish and a touch of salinity and ripe nectarine. The color is really the utmost gorgeous, especially for summer. This is easy to down, but memorable. — 8 years ago

This wine really does need to open up for a minute for its full personality to shine. And it’s worth it. Smells pungently of ammonia, vinegar, and warm strawberry filling. Full bodied, but tastes medium bodied. Salty, jammy, juicy, with a lovely finish on the back of the palate that is a gentle burnt caramel. It’s both zippy, glow glou, yet soft and memorable. Touches of cranberry juice, feels like I’m in that Ocean Spray logo, within an ocean of cranberry juice. Very well rounded wine. Would buy again. — 8 years ago

Wow... super into this glou glou wine. Very cherry, super tart, strawberry rhubarb wine... the color is gorgeous. Medium bodied unfiltered yet the color of a dark sangria— dark magenta and not red. It’s so good. Smells like the perfume counter at Bloomingdales in the 00s, kinda a leathery musky and then Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb all around. This wine is really good AND a great deal since it comes as a liter. Highly recommend! And I’m not normally a fan of cool climate wine. — 8 years ago

Such rich flavor! Bright, golden rays of sunshine. Very golden. And warm. Smells of passion fruit and a waft of lilies and... sweet canned corn, slightly. Taste of nutty Parmesan, soft buttery citrus, with short finish, yet deeply memorable. Feels like in a 70s kitchen with daylight streaming through orange linen curtains, tinting everything in a glowing, textural, and serene warmth. — 8 years ago

Aroma is passion fruit and a slight bit of jasmine. Color is a gorgeous melted butter— slightly cloudy and kind of like the color of a kitchen in the 70s. Upon swirling the aroma gets nuttier, deeper, almost slightly like chlorine but if chlorine were sweet (?). Honestly, the smell is really good. As the wine warms up, this wine gets really savory like a bag of salt and vinegar chips. And a little buttered popcorn. Really good. The finish is long to enjoy these flavors, but not overwhelmingly so. Really into this wine. — 8 years ago

Aromatic but not overwhelming. Stunning orange color on this skin contact gewurtztramainer. Scent actually reminds me of orange blossom perfume, with an underlying hint of crepe de chine perfume. Actually, it kind of tastes like a boulevardier and looks like one too, hence the orange rind scent. Has long finish, overwhelms the mouth, but with buttery edges. I can’t say I’m super into this wine, it’s perhaps not my palate, but it’s very well done. — 8 years ago

Smells like a rosy ammonia, with hints of jasmine and lemon rind. And then like, a cherry flavored cough drop. Color is gorgeous kinda prune juice look? Or unfiltered cranberry juice. Taste is the most perfect strawberry jam with even more perfectly balanced deeper jammy tannins, but all feels so light, yet so satisfying. This wine definitely has that “je ne sais quoi” written all over it. Get it. — 8 years ago
