This is a really good wine but definitely not a crowd pleaser. It starts off with melon and then turns to something like a dry, not-sweet mead. Cool and interesting. — 6 years ago
Light due to the fact of being well balanced in flavor and body, perfect with bisteca a la fiorentina and oven baked potatoes. — 6 years ago

Dedication ,labor of love, patience and traditional attention to the details results in this excellent and smooth savory wine. Rich medium red, ripe red plum followed with a pleasant peppery suggestion. Great wine, excellent pairing with Shrimp Diablo. — 5 years ago

A little funky, a little weighty and a little pinkish. Very interesting PG, but not for everyone. — 9 years ago
Pleasantly surprised with this wine... first time having a Vespolina wine. This grape is native to Piedmont and has Nebbiolo grape in its ancestry. Only 12.5% alcohol, classically-made acid-driven red with soft tannins. The tannins grew stronger in the glass I was having 24 hours later. For $24, this is a super value wine I have had in a long time. — 5 years ago
