v11. Very nice. Soft cedar and tobacco nose. Deep, black cherry fruit. Round, rich, mocha and mushroom finish. Enjoyed! — 2 years ago

Supple, jammy, silky mouthfeel, grapefruit, reminds me of the smokey charcoal of a Vacqueyras and the fruit of a luscious Pinot.
A recommended Rhône from the local shop owner on 23rd street.
A bouquet that brings the memory of clementines.

Strong acid backbone. A little young still @2009 in late 2017 but totally drinkable after decanting. — 6 years ago
Deep burnt orange in color with a lighter orange cream mousse and tiny bubbles. Wonderful nose of dried apricots and honeysuckle. This is echoed on the rich (of course) palate. Lowish (medium minus) acidity — it’s Vidal after all — offset by the tingle of the bubbles. Stone fruity moderate finish. Hard to dislike any icewine, even if it’s Vidal, and the bubbles add a surprising element of fun to this one. A nice celebratory dessert wine to drink with your birthday cake or New Year’s pudding. Will likely lose some bubbles after a decade, but should satisfy through 2039 and beyond. — 2 years ago
Tastes like Sprite, with a nice punchy acidity — 4 years ago
The purest a Vidal can get. Primary aromas of apricot, but the age allowed for some nice caramel complexities to show up. Rich on the palate with strong honey tones and a touch of citrus hiding in the back. Really lingers too, and paired well with a salted caramel cheesecake. — 5 years ago
This is one of the best cabs I have ever had at any price point. It’s best described as a show stopper! Was very fortunate to have this wine with a good friend that shared it with me. Would recommend for a special occasion to anyone without reservation over most anything else... — 5 years ago
Crazy oxidative and sherry like on aromas. Palate was rich with great acid. Still young and vital. A treat — 8 years ago

This dessert wine has a lovely, rich golden tint. The nose offers candied apricot and honey, while the palate shows that yummy stone fruit and a touch of citrus, along with plenty of acidity. — 2 years ago
