Verjus. Tastes old and band aidy. — 7 years ago
Pretry good! Was $8.19 at Kroger but found an awesome deal and picked up for $4.09 on sale! Enjoyed with seared chicken and verjus pan sauce with mashed potatoes, mushrooms, kale and asparagus (thanks blue apron!). — 9 years ago
This was like a partly developed Alsatian Riesling, and it's petrol-y earthiness, lemon, and honey went beautifully with a hummus-like salad course during our meal at Verjus in Paris. — 10 years ago
Verjus like nose and on the palate when first opens. Subsides, but still great acid throughout. Opens into apricot honey, flowers, a touch of minerality and creaminess on the nose. Lemon and grapefruit followed by apricot on the mid palate through the finis. A touch of honey and lactic acid to round it out. Very complex and balanced village level puligny

Tangy, airy, plush. A god damn lovely wine. Opened 4/11/15 to compliment pan-seared chicken verjus. A splendid way to celebrate spring in the air. Purchased: @maineandloire !

This wine had so much floral and berry freshness, but plenty of heft and earthiness to complement duck confit over a cabbage / caraway / quince salad at Verjus. Tannins and acid were balanced and not overwhelming--this was not too young to drink now. — 10 years ago
Great as a salad dressing or to dip bread. Not to drink — 10 years ago

Cant decide what kind of Sherry you want? Just get this amontillado - fino and all your problems will be solved. With wild mushrooms at Verjus in Paris, perfect. All the fino freshness along with amontillado depth, it was almost as multi-dimensional as the mushrooms were. — 10 years ago
Elliott and I went to Paris for the first time, and this was a discovery from Verjus, which is now our favorite-ever tasting menu (it was our first dinner of the two week trip--of course!). On to the wine...this was electric paired my favorite seafood dish ever--seared scallops with fennel and potato purée and pickled radishes. Full of savory minerality, lemon zest, peaches, and a perfect structure, this is my new bar for Macon chardonnay. — 10 years ago
