Very good value (paid $20) but is standard Barbaresco, so worth quite a bit more — 4 years ago
A good year, a fine wine with balance and context. Good value. Red berries, light fruit and body medium; palate perfect with discernible tannins and dryness - right for a Barbera d' Alba. There are better Barberas but this is right for red meats, strong cheeses. — 6 years ago
Had it with steak fondue. It would have paired better with lamb or paella since the flavor was bolder. It didn’t linger long so it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t paired well and that was our fault. We would certainly buy it again. Very tasty. — 6 months ago
This Italian “Zinfandel “has a warm mix of blackberries and plum fruit, some herbal background and ample tannins. Medium finish. Very nice Primitivo from Italy’s south. — 2 years ago

Sweet, sparkling, tart, slight bitter note at the end, light — 3 years ago
2013 Magnum. Let it open for about 3 hours. Iconic Nebbiolo and Barolo flavors—smooth tannins, cherry, cedar, slightly leathery, with just a little anise. Vs the slightly younger vintages in standard format bottles, this is less astringent with broader ranges of flavors (esp in floral notes). — 4 years ago

Very tasty. Bold, full bodied. Super heavy bottle 😂 went well with a Detroit style pizza. Would love to have again. — 3 years ago

Some Dude
This was a really nice and beautifully crafted wine. It’s not Barolo, of course, but it has a lot of the depth and character. We had a mushroom pizza and it really played off the earthiness. It was great with a sausage pizza as well. It could certainly have been aged for 5-8 years, but it was quite approachable on release. — 4 months ago
