Created in 1981, Terre Alte is considered one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, estate-grown at Rosazzo in the historic Terre Alte vineyards. Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and wonderful floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and slight lemon citrus with honey floral notes and lively acidity. Smooth finish ending with fruit and sweet mineral notes. Very nice! — a year ago

This is freaking amazing. Honey suckle in Hawaii! Honey, flowers, pineapple, some mango, touch of sweet lemon pie, grass, limestone, just a bit of nectarine. Bonkers amount of smells and flavors. Great Friulano, especially during colder weather. Floral, pear, honey - sweet nuttiness with a dry mineral finish to keep it from being cloying. Full-bodied. End of Thanksgiving weekend back in NY.
