Crisp creamy Chardonnay on football Sunday. What else needs to be said? ā 5 years ago
Blackberries, cherries at the start then smoothly blends into a spicy tone with touch of chocolate, oak, and followed by medium tannins ā 6 years ago
Pure pleasure. Rich black plums and vanilla, smokey mesquite. More than happy for everyone to keep leaving beautiful mature merlot on the shelf for me to find. Oh yeah and shout-out to @Ellen Clifford for inspiring me to pop this ā 6 years ago
Beautiful wine soft and a true Sangiovese flavor ruby color ā 6 years ago
Easy drinking, hints of citrus, very smooth, low acidity, very nice ā 6 years ago
Big tannin structure/oak component with the fruit kind of playing second fiddle. Actually gave it a higher score last Christmas (maybe more fruit?). Def a cab style merlot. Already developing secondary characteristics. Herbal notes. Somewhere between the 89 spectator score and 96 wine enthusiast score.
Next day: actually improved. Fruit showing more. ā 7 years ago
Delicious Sauv Blanc. Top of it's class. Smooth and not too tart ā 7 years ago
Great wine!!!! Really over delivers!! Kirk Venge nailed it!! ā 9 years ago
Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, plums and spices. Medium body and smooth and rich mouthfeel. On the palate, plum, blackberry, long, long finish of plum and vanilla. ā 5 years ago
Drinking nicely. Lighter profile. Turkey friendly. ā 5 years ago
Thanks Robert! ā 6 years ago
Such a huge fan of this winery. Uncut grass, a clean barn, white flowers, honeysuckle. On the palate, medium-light, brine. Well made. Rustic yet fresh. ā 6 years ago

Consistently one of my favorite wines. Sadly, it was my last bottle. ā 10 years ago
Under their Janzen label, Bacio Divino produces three vineyard-designate Cabernet Sauvignons from the Cloudyās Vineyard, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper, and Beckstoffer To Kalon. They also produce this Napa Cab which blends fruit from these vineyards with other select Napa vineyards. Kirk Venge is the consulting winemaker and viticulturist. Parker nails it with āintense notes of crushed plums, black cherries and mulberries plus notions of cedar chest, dried Provence herbs, underbrush and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied, the palate gives a very refreshing acid line, lifting the youthful black fruit, finishing long and chewy.ā While the fruit is immediately evident and approachable, thereās still a fair amount of tannin. The acid provides an impression of citrus brightness atypical of many of its peers. And while I prefer Vengeās Silencieux, Iām not sure a comparison is relevant as this is completely different stylistically, and quite enjoyable because of that. ā 6 years ago
Awesome recommendation from our local wine guy. Hadn't heard of if before, apparently it's a newer project from Kirk Venge. It's the Chardonnay but Delectable doesn't seem to have it in their database. Complex nose and palate of flowers, minerals, slate, apricots, mint, brown butter, blah blah blah. Basically, too many to list, but I like how it tastes a little different each time. Really nice acid and viscosity. Sure to age well. ā 8 years ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of black currant, black cherry and leather. Flavors of dark fruit and back tea finish.
With a pinch of (9%) Cabernet Sauvignon.
