Very smooth, nice blend for group with unspecified tastes. Nice full body for the the price point. — 9 years ago
Aerate a little bit. Nice dark fruity nose, very full and lush, hint of olive, smoky and nice oak. Brown sugar. Nice round mouth feel with nice quick finish that's not too tannic but has a slight kick. Very good. For a 50$ bottle... — 10 years ago
Absolutely yummy. The nose is light compared to the taste. The nose has hints of minerality and dark fruits. The pallet is smoky, full of dark fruits, med body and very balanced. I agree with being wrapped in a blanket. It's a chilly night and this warmed me right up! — 11 years ago
Now this is a great wine. Dark in color, almost black with a purple rim.
Magnificent nose with blueberries, figs, plums, and herbs.
Sweet candies on the palate with blueberries, cranberry, dried figs, raisins, peppercorn.
Big, bold and beautiful with gorgeous legs.
Smooth and sexy long finish with bold tannins and ripen fruits.
Great right out of the bottle. After 2 hours in the decanter, chewy tannins on the finish. This is not my first, and definitely not my last. Very consistent from year to year.

Has a lot of mineral characteristics, very dark color almost plum like. Has a Pinot like flavor qualities, but still rich texture and finishes very dry. — 12 years ago
Wow this thing drank young. Would have maybe guessed it was 5-7yrs old. Tannic. Very blue and black fruit dominant. Lots of cassis, currant, plum. The finish was lengthy...lots of dark chocolate. Wouldn’t be scared to lay this down for another year or two. — 8 years ago
started to open at 4+ hour. wait on last 2 bottles as very promising! paired lovely with a prime rib. long finish, integrating nicely with a lot of fruit left. incredible fruit purity in a Napa Cabernet- dark cherry, cedar, lead pencil, coffee. secondary elements just starting. 2001 vintage on 3/11/17. — 9 years ago

In contrast to the Chappellet this was rocking although 5 years younger and both from Pritchard Hill. Deep dark fruits, chocolate, black cherry and some oak but very well integrated. I've never opened a Continuum that doesn't kick ass. Young but no reason to wait. — 10 years ago
Had the magnum. Very smooth with dark fruit, oak and deep structure. — 11 years ago
Very rich with flavor. More flavor then the regular red ménage a trois. Both are great! — 8 years ago
Tasted very young, despite being 20 yrs old. Nice balance and structure. Plenty of dark fruit and spice, very smooth tannin. — 9 years ago
This wine needed about 3 hours to release. Initially tight with uncomfortable medicinal nose which then totally dissipated. Drinking now next day and you get the age of fully integrated but not fading tannins. Nose has a delightful dark fruit and smokiness. Great fit of nose and taste, meaning - when tastes after smelling the experience is consistent and not jolting. I think the color purple in a subdued way. Very nice. Memo to self: decant and watch for sediment, and enjoy three hours later. — 10 years ago
A lot of oak with berry berries and very dark color. A joy to drink. — 10 years ago
Very young - this is wine for the cellar. Dark spice, hints of green herbs. The nose is like walking into a Chinese herb shop. Crushed chalk. Plum skins. Texture is very smooth with deep hints of baking chocolate dusting. This is quite the thoroughbred Cabernet: Elegant, Pure, Pristine, and Powerful. $175 at winery. — 11 years ago
A very deep, dark, expressive Cab. Dark plum, chocolate, spice, and oak on the nose with additional notes of blackberry and raisin. Full bodied, dry, and tannic. A pretty awesome Cabernet Sauvignon! — 11 years ago
I was intrigued by the label! Very pleasantly surprised! Richer than expected - juicy and velvety smooth with a nice dryness. — 12 years ago

This 1997 wine is great. Sweet tannins very reserved. Layers of dark fruit. Really complex with long finish. Vanilla showed up after an hour. My only bottle but I’m buying a case for aging. I was really surprised how great this wine was. — 8 years ago
