Great variant of Plavac mali, ripe black fruits, but it lacks the right bouquet. Thick in mouth, thin on nose, rather short aftertaste. To be honest, I expected more.
Edit: much of the taste suddenly appeared after warming the wine to real room temperature of about 24 C 😁 — 8 years ago
Tasty Belgian variant... but be careful- it packs a punch! — 8 years ago
Smoky campfire nose with hints of cherries tobacco and green bell pepper. Drinks like a zin from Paso Robles. Tobacco and ripe cherry in a fruit forward mouth. Delish. — 8 years ago
Great wine, however not that different from its less expensive variant (temperanillo)

Very smooth, little tannin. A variant of a less expensive version of Conundrum Red. A jammy wine that is big on the palette. — 8 years ago
Lovely nose. Cherry flowers and spatburgunder. Palate is so fresh. Lovely bright cherry with some depth. Very very Juicy. Mineral. Nice long finish with a hint of licorice. Really really delicious. This is an early ripening variant of Pinot noir. Bought from Fass Selections. Some savory elements starting to come out at 60 minutes. Oh Wow. It’s getting even better. Nose is chambolly. Palate has awesome texture. Sweet fruit. Mineral. Spice. Wow. — 8 years ago

Raspberry variant of a common polish dessert wine. Really sweet as expected with a good raspberry finish. Does not appear to be fake. — 8 years ago
Fruity, complex, smooth tannins, and a touch of acidity all suggest it will be drinking well for several years. Went very well with a BBQ variant of Vitello tonnato, based around rump steak. — 9 years ago
Tropical hazy sour. Drink fresh. Burdock is awesome. — 7 years ago
A nice European variant of SN, matured in large wood. Ripe lemons, some grass, a touch of grapes, lemon curd. The wood adds a bit of roundness, but the juicy acidity shines through, with a mineral streak in the long finish. An fine, elegant wine. — 8 years ago
Pineapple Thai Basil variant. Liked this more than the original Petite Sour. — 8 years ago

Absolutely amazing. A variant of port that will leave you wanting more. — 8 years ago
Nice Tempranillo, more complex and less fruity than the usual Spanish variant. Well balanced, moderate on tannins. — 8 years ago
Local Nebbiolo variant from far-northern Piedmont in the Val d’Ossola. Medium bodied, not very tannic, light acid, dried flowers, cherry, thyme, tart cola. From Flatiron Wines. — 9 years ago
— 10 years ago

Also great...but not quite as good as the Drei Fonteinen (but then again, few things are!). — 6 years ago
