Peppery, herbal, big. Reminds of a good non Rhône Syrah. Exiting wine. Should improve over the years. — 7 years ago
Piuze makes fantastic Chablis, so perhaps not surprising how much value his sparkling wine brings. Much more detail & incisive focus than 17$ should be; very dry on palate, with small red berry essences & very balanced. This beats up Cremants at the same price point, & then some. — 10 months ago
Great wine just outside Sancerre region so cheaper. — 3 years ago

Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of citrus and stone fruit with fresh herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple and grapefruit, with herbs and crisp mineral tones. Medium finish, well balanced on a soft ending. Easy drinking. Very nice! Consistent quality. — 10 months ago

Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago
