This was unexpectedly deep garnet, bricking pretty heavily, so that gave some pause. Balsamic and tar on nose reassured, and in the mouth, the high detailing and supple texture carried a milk chocolatey note over classic elements of dried rose, savoury mineral and tanned leather. Fruit was perfectly interested, along bitter cherry lines, yet juicy and succulent. Long, harmonious finish proved perfectly resolved tannins. Wow! Despite atypical features, this was clearly Barolo, and an utter joy to drink, satisfying at every step. — 11 years ago
Lively and singing! Can you imagine, every single textbook says that Oregon Chardonnay was not very good pre the arrival of Dijon clones - it is COMPLETE AND UTTER NONSENSE. — 11 years ago
The color is deep, the nose ripe, complex let’s say utter. Full and warm mouth. Power and finesse! An iron fist in a velvet glove. The most “solar” Burgundy wine I had the chance to taste. Real, true lifetime. — 11 years ago
Mikulski is the most underrated white producer in all of burgundy. There, I said it. 35 bucks. With quality that equals roulot, ramonet, and the like any day of the week. Sesame Halvah, fresh lemon juice, ripe nectarines. Utter deliciousness. — 11 years ago

Aged to utter perfection. 👌🏻 if only the cork could have held up — 10 years ago
Dried figs. Utter deliciousness. Have to thank @Brian McMahon for this one. — 10 years ago
One of very few bottles made apparently, awkward plummy to start with but converging into utter deliciousness over 1 hour. Lacking the tell tale red burgundy fruit but it has another story/terroir to tell. — 11 years ago
Will moscato ever get better than this? Orange blossom, jasmine, and lime...all with utter concentration. Delicious! — 11 years ago
Stunning Madeira with singed, caramel-drizzled cobbler crust; red sweet berries, pancake syrup...and utter delectableness! — 11 years ago
Gorgeous nose. Alluring -dusty rose, earthy. From a good vintage. 85% merlot 15% Cabernet Franc. Brilliant mature right bank.
An utter pleasure. 18.5+. — 11 years ago
Utter #infanticide of one of the truly singular, expressive and terroir driven wines around. #moonmountaindistrict — 10 years ago

Utter floral completeness with mineral and fruit and savory and length and I'm smitten. Thanks @Max Kogod — 10 years ago
Typical Yquem richness, fresh, very distinct and intense smell of limes. Elegant, very long aftertaste, can almost taste it now. An exceptional wine, an utter delight - the bottle was gone too soon. — 11 years ago
Unbelievable: an excellent lambrusco! A much maligned varietal bevause of utter crap wine made from it 30 years ago, this has almost five years of age on it and is really interesting. Just enough effervescence to keep it alive on the palate, this wine exhibits terrific berry flavors along with an intersting, subtle earthy undertone. Excellent! — 11 years ago

Utter Napa Cab perfection. — 11 years ago
85 year vines. Amazing concentration and utter deliciousness — 11 years ago

The somm at the hipster resto was totally judging us for shortlisting different styles of wines. I guess that's the price of admission for having broad tastes. Anyway, I just wanted to know which of our options sucked the least, and after Mr. Wine Guru was done throwing shade ("none of our wines suck"—lolz), he offered this bottle, saying it was a personal favourite at a great price point. Being down-sold to something this delicious was more than enough to absolve his sins. (He was also kind of handsome, which also helped.)
Crisp acidity on my first sip softened nicely as I downed half a dozen New Brunswick oysters and a healthy portion of fancy fries (or "pomme frites", as I was almost able to utter with a straight face). Bring me bottles of this in July and August and we'll sip them in the park or comfort of my air conditioned apartment. — 10 years ago
