Smooth, with a soft coal, apple and honey flavor. I give it a score of 91/100 — 8 years ago
Probably my favorite from The Balvenie, this port wood-finished single malt has a great sherry character along with a sweetness, hint of smoke, and just enough bite (without any warer addition) to allow it to open up on the palate and show off some great retro aromatics. Long, lingering finish. Fantastic. — 9 years ago

This was a delicious surprise. Reminded me of old Glenmo releases. — 8 years ago

Single malt with hints of rum. Some vanilla and/or honey. Favorite bottle at the moment — 9 years ago
Amazed for this price, the taste of a vintage Glenmorngie. How this single malt accomplishes this is bewildering. — 9 years ago

Straw, hay, intimations of summer breeze. Like the Dalwhinnie — 10 years ago
@Bill Bender Wish you and the remainder of the 🍷Wine Nerd Herd🍷 were here right now! This baby is going down so ever so smoothly! You would really dig it! And so would they!!! — 8 years ago

Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...
Lovely aroma. Doesn't come to hit you right back. — 9 years ago
Honey followed by wisp of smoldering campfire. The perfect balance of everything? — 10 years ago

Great, slightly sweet taste! A notch less than Johnny Walker Black Label! Had it with ice & a little bit of water! — 8 years ago
