Tense and unyielding but so much unbridled power underneath. Lemon confit, salty briny marine notes and fresh herbs. Needs to age but should be excellent in a few years . — 7 years ago
My first bottle of Bollinger and left me speechless. It was pure, unbridled magic. — 8 years ago
Had the 2005 vintage today. Thought that it was likely way passed it's time and am extremely happy that I was wrong. — 10 years ago
Goes wonderfully with everything from Pollo Novello (yummy roasted chicken) to Caserecce con Ragu di Salsiccia (pasta w/housemade spicy sausage)... thoroughly enjoyed our meal! — 10 years ago
Way too young. Wait a decade, at least. Wouldn’t be fair to judge honestly. Like a unbridled beast that just arrived in its new barn. — 7 years ago
Interesting young wine. Some hedonistic and unbridled qualities, but chocolate covered cherries made an appearance as well. Think this could really be something in 4-5 years. If you have a few, try one now, otherwise wait a bit - seems like it may be in its teenage years. — 7 years ago

Dark fruits. Glad I saved this for a Wagyu steak night. — 8 years ago
Good, but I don't know how to explain the taste. Nice mouth feel. — 9 years ago

I cellared it 3 years... Smart boy!)))
Lush, bold, unbridled, solid Malbec, blend of two vineyards: Finca El Oasis& Finca La Palma.
Fermented 26 days at 26-28oC, macerated 15 days, then aged 1 yr in 50% new French and American oak.
Deep dark garnet, bricky ruby rim.
Fleshy nose of black pepper, wet earth, roasted cacao beans, prune, black currant, blueberry pie, ink, saskatoon & violets.
Nearly full bodied, with pleasantly coarse tannins and backbone acidity. Black and red currant, blackthorn, wild cherry, bilberry, blue fig, wooden bark.
Enjoyable knitting finish full of black fruits, oak bark, vanilla.
Perfect nectar to accompany my juicy marble steak. — 10 years ago
Unleashed! Free! Unbridled! Willing to give an answer to anything you might ask, no matter how personal or vulnerable. Ripe, oxidative, rich, no restraint no subtly just lots of generosity. — 7 years ago
Such an unbridled beauty! This is pedal to the metal with intoxicating berry compote laced with swiss chocolate in the aroma. Mind bending intensity and wonderful structure. May not be for everyone, but it IS for me!!! Also, an absolute pleasure to meet Mrs. Kelly Peterson-Holmes as she presented her wines admirably. — 7 years ago
Love the unbridled bloodiness of Marsanne’s St. Jo’s. This is glorious. Olive, garrigue, lavender, blackberry, black cherry, Smokey, feral but so much olive. Unreal. And very aromatic now. Palate is so good and full of 2015 fruit but also insanely young and pretty closed. Serious granitic structure and very pure fruit and typical 2015 extraordinarily long finish. — 8 years ago
Excellent chard. Buttery. Pear. Some tropical fruit. Fantastic — 9 years ago
Zero chill. #atlasofwine beholding nature in one of it's unbridled forms. This raw Cornelissen Nerello Mascalese from Sicily is taking no prisoners. Exhilarating ride. — 9 years ago
2011 vintage. Fruity (red fruits) with good body and unbridled enthusiasm — 10 years ago
Samur goodness from a bucket list producer. Maybe a little young to consume but unbridled finesse from the Loire Valley. — 10 years ago

The medium ruby colored wine gives off a fruity nose, a bit of a departure for Bonny Doon bottlings. The savory is not forgotten, but a healthy dose of raspberry, blackberry and red currant comes forward in unbridled fashion. On the palate, there's a tartness, but also a juicy acidity at play. To me, it drinks somewhat like a cru Beaujolais., only from Monterey County. The semi-lengthy finish carries the fruit well. — 7 years ago
