One of my favorites on the lesser expensive side. One of only a handful of wines outside of Mendoza, this Patagonia Malbec is smooth and delicious with pastas and red meat dishes.

Beautiful golden color with lovely blossom notes on the nose. This wine is very rich, full bodied, and off-dry with the family resemblance to gewurztraminer really notable in the texture. Palate has sweet apple, pear, and apricot. Alcohol is just very slightly hot and the finish is long and clean. I'm glad I drank the wine! — 10 years ago
