Fanucchi Wood Road Vineyard Trousseau Gris

Waited a few years to drink the 2017 and it’s even better than I remembered. In times like these it’s important to savor the floral bouquet and stone fruit deliciousness of this wine and essentials like Clorox bleach. — 6 years ago

The color is a mix of salmon and amber. The nose exudes crushed rock and a basket of fresh fruit. Rich, textured, and savory flavors. — 7 years ago

Rubis Côtes du Jura Red Blend 2016

Лудинг.
Немного летучки, тонкий бруснично-ежевичный нос, немного подлеска, мясо. Во рту мягкое, шелковистое, повторяет нос, средняя кислотность, хороший финиш.

@pacific standard time in chicago. Best orange I’ve had in a while, oxidized on the nose, immediately salty in the palette almost like a pecorino cheese and then a smooth sweet finish like apple cider. Infinitely complex and interesting. Love — 7 years ago

A first for me. Right off the bat I was hit with barnyard funk, a fruit driven balsamic note and very chewy/crunchy cranberry. Best enjoyed slightly below cellar temp, this still needs some age or a solid hour in the decanter to express itself. Lots of potpourri, tar, and herbal/mineral traits. I was only able to enjoy a glass of this shortly after it was opened so I’m sure it blossomed after I left and was cooled down. Need to re-visit this unique blend. — 7 years ago
