What do you get when you cross Treehouse Vineyard fruit and the Assistant Winemaker to TRB at Mending Wall? The answer is this Pinot that is absolutely stunning.
The nose and flavor profile reminds me quite a bit of the Occidental Ridge Pinot from Rivers Marie; bing cherry, dark cherry, a bit of cola, orange zest, citrus and pine; riper fruit but still crisp, rounded tannins and a good little bit of acidity. Really a smooth drinker overall. This has improved over the past year and is a stellar QPR.

This is hands down my favorite Pinot Gris. This has a slight sweetness to it with a beautiful light fruit finish. Perfect on its own or paired with fish, salads, or fruits. A stunning spring or summer Pinot Gris. — 9 years ago
