A great vintage - Violets for sure 🌹. Christoph thinks cloves & geraniums and i tend to agree. Tons of tannins puckers your mouth easily will run for 10 more years.

What do you get when you cross Treehouse Vineyard fruit and the Assistant Winemaker to TRB at Mending Wall? The answer is this Pinot that is absolutely stunning.

The nose and flavor profile reminds me quite a bit of the Occidental Ridge Pinot from Rivers Marie; bing cherry, dark cherry, a bit of cola, orange zest, citrus and pine; riper fruit but still crisp, rounded tannins and a good little bit of acidity. Really a smooth drinker overall. This has improved over the past year and is a stellar QPR.
