A tad oxidative on the nose. Plums, dark berries, pipe tobacco, smoke, exotic spice, vanilla. Frame filled out nicely by grainy tannins. — 6 years ago

Big cherry fruit. Needs to breathe. Really good but high alcohol started coming thru at end of bottle — 6 years ago
A really good Cava, especially when you consider the retail price ($12.99). Straw, golden apple, rosemary notes. Same on the palate, rich enough to mention it, huge finish, minerally, pretty, small, bubbles. I like it a lot, ya know, considering everything? — 7 years ago
Maybe one of the best Pinot Grigio's I've had. Full bodied, lingering palate. Full of earthy character and crisp melon. Not your typical Punot Grigio. — 8 years ago

Hazy with tar and dark fruit, a bit along the lines of taurasi — 6 years ago
Probably the best under $15 Tuscan I've had. Medium body, fresh cherry, a little herb. Some complexity and pleasant tannins to the finish which is rare for a Sangiovese at this price point. — 8 years ago

Single vineyard 100% Sangiovese, this 13’ Chianti Classical Riserva displays
fragrant nose of sour cherry, strawberry, thyme, balsamic, incense, hint of violet and barnyard. Great fruit intensity on the palate with lots of earthy nuances. High yet round acidity. Polished grippy tannins lead to an elegant long finish.
This would stand tall to a lot of BdM. — 2 years ago
