Dark cherry, plum, dried spice — 5 years ago
Leave open at least one hour before consuming. Not amazing but just nice. Perhaps not worth $45 but this is a straightforward no-frills Burgundy that hits the right notes. Nice balance of fruit and acidity. The fruit is marked but not overwhelming. The acidity is a little strong but not marring. A good buy from a value appellation. — 6 months ago
Really nice blue fruit and fresh cherry with a super clean smooth palate and nice tannins. A little cedar and spice. . Balanced TBL — 10 months ago
Glorious. Delightfully floral, fruity, typical cab franc notes. Touches of cocoa, toasted almond, herbs, and a real soulful tartness. Truly a wine of balance, with all the complexity of the grape but also delicious now. This will evolve I’m sure but hard to beat how it is today. — 3 years ago

2022 earthy, Hass selection Olivier — 7 months ago
Getting ahead with some research off to Saumur/Loire Vallée, this little Saumur Champigny punches above it's weight, up there with mid level burgundy, climate change has done well for Cab Francs, Pinot Noir from Loire Vallée. Well structured, light but with a bit of depth, berries galore, bio organic too! — 8 months ago
Smooth, light, floral, with a touch of honey. Paired perfectly with a hake and fish broth dish. — 2 years ago
Nice Pinot noir goes well with Lochinvar Salmon — 4 years ago
Wonderful, beautiful Pinot from the Chablis region. Drinks like a cooler region Pinot - fruity, light-med body, smooth, low-med tannins, nice acid. Could age a bit longer still. — 4 years ago
Apple that had begun to rot in the cider bin (in a good way!) minerals and balanced oak integration. A very long and complex finish. — 5 years ago

Really an excellent cab franc. Have had stuff from Thierry Germain before but not this bottling. Perfect with a variety of Syrian dishes at Damas in Montreal. Bright, restrained fruit, excellent acid. Nice finish. — 5 months ago
