The 3 Bears Blend

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1996

Deep ruby color with some bricking on edges leads to a nose currant, Asian spice and bell pepper. Medium body contains currant, cherry, black berry and mint. Long finish hi lights the wine. My only complaint is a slightly green aspect of wine. Best after 3 hours in decanter. — 11 years ago

Ridge Vineyards

Lytton Springs Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Blend 2012

A 2012 blend consisting of 70% Zinfandel, 21% petite Sarah, 6% Carignane and 3% Mourvèdre. A rich deep ruby red color, 14.4% alcohol, dry, mind tannin that will smooth out after a few years of collecting. Paired with meatballs and it was a perfect compliment. — 11 years ago
