This is a fantastic old vine zinfandel! Wasn't familiar with the vineyard but would absolutely get something from Mara in the future! Bold, black fruit flavor that won't double your check.

Only white we sampled from Young Inglewood Vineyards. Creamy light golden yellow. Beautiful nose with creamy and buttery attack, with some hay and a little toasty. Some green apple and citrus undertones. Moderate acidity (7/10) with some tart apples on the attack. Creamy and a little bit of butter in the long finish. Some minerality too. Baked fruit on the nose with a slight tartness: apple, pear cobbler. Meyer lemon. Candied lemon. Orange rind. Stone fruit, too. Slightly nutty in the palate and a nice delivery of mineral - bitter finish. Moderate+ acid, moderate alcohol. Fresh, young, and easy drinking. — 7 years ago
Somm friend said it was bonkers good and that all her natural-wine friends were head-over-heels for this selection. Really juicy red fruit, almost effervescent. Def tastes like a natural wine--maybe some carbonic.

Made from Corvina, Rondinella and Negrara grapes, Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet dried berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate ripe blackberry, currants and sweet cherry with complex spice. Well balanced with acidity and alcohol, full-body with soft tannins on long finish. Nice value. — 3 years ago
