Almost too sweet....ALMOST. — 8 years ago
Who knew? A fantastic blend with notes of blackberries, cocoa and heavy baking spices. The flavors are highlighted by the Smokey whiskey flavors from 18 months in the barrel with the last 6 in a jack Daniels Tennessee sour mash barrel. Totally unique and surprisingly splendid. — 9 years ago
Excellent value! Paired with homemade choriqueso. — 5 years ago
Fantastic Tennessee whiskey. — 6 years ago
There's a lot to like about this whisky. There's also quite a lot not to like. The intense vanilla, caramel, mocha flavors are delicious and sustain beautifully. However, there isn't the elegance or smoothness of a great whisky. Better than most large production options at a similar price point and a worthy addition to the home bar.

30 mins after opening I was drinking a Chianti... vacuumed it and revisited the next evening and found myself drinking an exquisite Chianti! It become dynamic and as such, I recommend this wholeheartedly especially if you’re staring down a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with your homemade red sauce. — 6 years ago
Excellent wine, smooth, rich — 6 years ago

Shows the warm of the ‘09 vintage very well. Succulent, full, guided by its overt personality than alluring tension. Plenty of bright acid, tannins are sleek and show a musculature nature without being too dominating on the palate. Ripe black cherry, roasted strawberry, candy cap mushroom, tar, rose, licorice candy, ferns, Ceylon, ting of allspice. Very happy with how this drank, perfect for homemade Pappardelle w/braised rabbit (in Burlotto Pelaverga of course) — 7 years ago
