The Standard!!! Goes great with pizza, Italian, cheese, or just by itself! I have been enjoying this wine since the mid 90s and it has been a mainstay every year! — 8 years ago
Still plenty of personality to this, but neither the freshest nor cleanest bottle of wine you're likely to come across. Starts out smelling of musty attic and old used books, and it never kicks it entirely, but does pick up enough other elements like cedar and cigar box to keep things interesting. What it doesn't really pick up is any fruit, which is fine for its age, but it's a bit disappointing once you compare it to something like the '75 Beychevelle which is in much better shape now with plenty more stuffing. The tannins have completely melted away so the texture is fine and it goes down easy. Interesting now, but would have been better 5-10 years ago. — 9 years ago
This 2008 was cellared for almost five years after purchased in 2012. Consumed Nov 2015, the best way to describe this delight is that "it melts in your mouth". You do not even feel it as it goes down, the taste begins with its scents as soon as it hits your palate. Delightfully fruity with cherry, blackberry and jam. — 10 years ago
The price goes up faster than the quality, but this is definitely a great wine. — 10 years ago
Amazing! Rich, complex red fruits, apples, plums, spice. Goes on& on& on! — 11 years ago
Goes great with a variety of food. — 11 years ago
No sensory today... Gotta love colds. Goes good with the eggplant Parmesan though — 12 years ago
Blackberry, dark plumb, cassis, pitch, dark chocolate. Goes well with Soundgarden of the same vintage (most of Badmotorfinger was recorded in '90 though the album was released in '91)... — 13 years ago
$22 from Napa - sweet and balanced goes with chicken and grilled foods — 7 years ago
Jammy yet smooth. Sweeter than I recall, or is it just this vintage? We will see how it goes with a big fat steak... — 8 years ago
Made in a true French tradition of 'wine goes with food'. It's one of those subtle Sonoma wines that does not try to overpower everything. While it can stand on its own, it is quite diverse for pairing with Coq au Vin, pork tenderloin and of course, a big juicy porterhouse. We love going to Jordan's winery because it is like stepping off at the local chateaux in France, with the symmetry of the chestnut trees lining the courtyard and the neoclassical architecture. The wine reflects these surroundings in its balance, as well. — 9 years ago
Nice champaine!.. Goes well with İskenderun's white cheese... — 10 years ago
One of my favs! Goes with chilly nights by the fire. Smooth and rich! — 11 years ago
We had our 2nd (Berry Brothers London) and 3rd (Y18 HK) bottles. We love it more than the first time we had it. Absolutely amazing. The taste is robust and it goes extremely well with steak. — 11 years ago
Get fruity taste, it almost had a tent it sweet as it goes down. Lovely Pinot 👏🍷 — 12 years ago
Incredibly crisp, wakes you up. Getting better every year. Goes great with seafood or on its own. — 12 years ago
This goes down way too easy. Love the new vintage — 8 years ago
Smooth, everyday wine. Goes down easily and nice at room temperature. — 10 years ago
A flowering plum w a bit of chocolate and raspberry flavor. For the 2010, suspect a decanting is in order or waiting a year or two. Goes great for home cooked dinner w my youngest son consuming Alaskan king Crab, a bone in ribeye and some toasted Kale. Of course, what wouldn't? — 10 years ago
Because Krug goes with everything — 11 years ago

Bright apple flavors, not too sweet with a light cirrus bite at the end. Perfect accompaniment to spicy Asian food but goes well with Ethiopian or Jamaican also. — 12 years ago

A fitting 600th wine for me on Delectable. Such a youthful, wonderful being. Lemon and lemon zest. Melon and slate. Softness beyond its years. Finish was a floral and citrus explosion that goes on into a velvet abyss. — 7 years ago
