Lean, herbal, red fruits. A great expression of the ‘89 vintage. Third time tasting

Still a couple of years away from peak maturity, but very good and shows a lot of promise.

Dark fruits, still great structure, this needs more cellaring, medium-long finish, terrific for a 1989 Napa Cab.

1989 vintage. One of the best Dunn’s I’ve had. Has held up great with that trademark dark cherry core still intact, and fruit followed by layers of earth and leather. Tannins are still there even after nearly 30 year but a great, layered and integrated wine. Excellent.
