Dark cherry/burgundy color, smells of black cherry, brown mushroom, leather, damp forest and cinnamon, tastes of licorice, anise, raisin and blueberry, very soft tannin, balanced like being in a Shinto temple in Kyoto's autumn. Wonderful smooth finish, all is well and in harmony. — 13 years ago

I don't get it some of the low ratings of this wine. This is a reliable all around balanced good wine, with a fair amount of berry flavors, medium acidity and good tannins so I give it a 9.0 rating. — 9 years ago
