Over three years since I opened up the first bottle. Still young-ish but much easier to drink after a quick decant of half an hour. All the typical scents and taste of C9DP. Very balanced. Clearly from a warm climate but retaining ample freshness. Like it a lot. Hope I can keep my hands off it in the coming years to check in on the remaining bottles every couple of years — 2 months ago

I had the 2013 and was so worried that it would be terrible due to the challenges with that vintage. But this was YUM! Dried strawberry and lavender. Delightful. Aged well. — 4 months ago

From Chambers birthday 2020 on 10/8/2023. Lovely, dark luxardo cherry, raisin, licorice knows. Muscular straight up structure. Nice continuity between nose and palate. — 7 months ago

WS Top Values for this year so tried it and also because I love Syrah. Cherry notes are prevalent but not a fruit bomb like some American versions. Smooth finish. Would get again. — 2 months ago

Dried cherry and raspberry fruit, with bay leaf, earth and licorice. — 3 months ago
Medium ruby color, fresh fruity smell right after opening the bottle. Plum, sour cherries sprinkled with some pepper. Maybe should be aged a little more for tannins to smooth slightly. — 3 months ago
Dry, dark fruit with a nice, smooth finish — 4 months ago
Redfruits, nice acid lifts this, fully mature and is super clean compared to the gamey/leathery/slightly funky 1999 Pegau CdP, but lacks the depth or flavor interest or sheer complexity of the Pegau!! — 6 months ago
Tre bien mes amis. Amour from a smooth unidentified varietal awaits your every savoury sip. I’d write more but I’m a bit too irve. Bonne nuit. — 3 years ago
Sweet spicy, aroma and taste. Various colored berries, cherries. Smooth. Rich and Elegant. 20 @16000, GDr, 240319 — 2 months ago
Slightly cloudy garnet ruby core . Some herbal and slightly funky undergrowth , dried red fruits, dried mushroom , tobacco and dried spices, touch medicinal also. On the palate still some fruit , dried red cherry, those sous bois notes , rose and spice , liquorice . Balanced acidity, noticeable slightly angular tannin. Ok length with just a touch of warmth , slightly smoky finish . This is mature and should be drunk as I don’t see it improving. Drink Now and next 5 years . — 2 months ago

Waxy, nutty and floral. Clearly mature, yet there are still some deep yellow fruit notes (dried apricot, papaya, baked apple) left. Also hints of vanilla, honeycomb and pumpkin-spice latte.
Really nice. — 2 months ago
