Opened for mom on MM Ben dinner. Inky dark color with earthy nose and weight palate. Would be good with heavier winter meals. — 2 years ago

Smooth and flavorful. Blue fruit. Not sweet — 5 years ago
Great red from Uruguay. Big black fruit aromas. Full and ripe fruit flavors of blackberries and plums. Big note of juniper berries. Hints of herbs and just the right amount of oak. Rich and velvety texture. Did not have the big tannin structure I was expecting. Blending in 30% Merlot is a great move. Really softened the big Tennat tannin reputation. Outstanding vino! — 6 years ago

v18. Very good! Soft smoke and tobacco nose. Fresh raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit. Bright, long, chocolate, earth and leather finish. Enjoyable! — 7 months ago

Excellent would drink again — 6 years ago

Earthy and funky. A heavier wine that’s an experience in itself. — 4 years ago

A rosé I would drink again and again. It really is as soft, supple and smooth as a baby’s bottom. Like raspberry sun kisses. — 6 years ago
Rustic without funk. Pure cab franc flavors with lots of licorice. — 6 years ago

Dark blackish purple. Inviting nose of blueberry compote and overripe blackberry. Full bodied palate confirms the nose adding tarry oak in the back palate and finish. All supported by juicy medium plus acidity and wrapped in firm but velvety tannins. Finish is long and continues the palate. A polished Tannat that shows why it's the signature variety of Uruguay where it fits the country's beef culture like a dark tannic glove. Drink now through 2031. — 6 months ago
