Rope red fruit, licorice root, a bit of menthol, sweet berry and smooth tannins. — 6 years ago
Dark golden bordering Carmel. Seductive nose. Ginger root, organic honey, and toasted almond. The oxidation is in a great spot. Medium weight with dried apricot and pineapple. Acidity carries on the finish. In a wonderful place, drink or hold. — 7 years ago
After finally getting caught up with last weeks posting, its back to our regularly scheduled Friday N/V Rosé Champagnes. My favorite after Krug. Sofia’s is different about every 2-3 weeks. 🤣🥂
My notes are listed many times previously. I’m taking a break from notes for now and going to fully enough my baby bottles 🍼 of 375ml. Ahhhh! — 8 years ago
Amazing smooth, balanced and sweet cab for a special occasion.. — 8 years ago
Opens over time. InitIal nose of rose petals and muted fruit. Opens to cherries and licorice root. Bright red fruit, earthy mid palate, and then a lingering finish. Had to drink one. Will let the others alone for a while. — 9 years ago

Fairly ripe and extracted vision of RRV PN. Fruit fwd but not overblown in the least. Made well but not really my jam at 14.5%. A lot of people like this style tho. Red fruits and root beer. Decant, smoke a big doob, and pair with a big ass pot roast and some taters for a good time — 6 years ago
After decanting initial notes of honeycomb. A good combination of root vegetable notes and savoury red fruits. Great palate intensity without weight. An excellent example of a 10 year old Tasmanian Pinot. Freycinet is on the East Coast of Tasmania and their Pinot Noir is a regular purchase for me. Capable of ageing for 15 years plus. — 7 years ago
Bubblegum, cherry, oak, root beer, very velvety, light tannins — 8 years ago
Roses, and agree with another note re: subtle root beer. Via Garagiste. — 8 years ago
When you're stuck out at the Cherokee resort and casino taking classes for 3 days thank god there's a Ruth Chris and good wine. There is wayyyyy to much tie dye and sweat pant material here for me. 😳🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 9 years ago
The color of unfiltered apricot juice with a golden orange hue. The nose has a sweet apricot petrol blood orange zest thing going on. Almost like the white of the orange. All of this carries over into the palate with acidity on the sides and tannin drying up the top of the tongue. The fruit is still there, but can’t imagine that lasting much longer without the tertiary flavors taking over. Great with ground veal, capers, orecchiette and white wine sauce. — 6 years ago
Boy, we have been drinking good wines this weekend. Another high scoring one. Intense is the key word. Intense in spice, intense in dark, vibrant fruit, and intense in its finish taking you through multiple layers before slowly disappearing and leaving you desperate for more. — 7 years ago

Not a huge fan of Sauvignon Blanc, but this is fantastic. Crisp, but not just another simplistic Sauv Blanc, it has character. — 8 years ago
A compelling blend of noble and native grapes...this is absolutely delicious. At $24 I call value. The gewürztraminer shows itself without taking over, white perfume and peony...flowers dance between melons and melt off the palate. — 8 years ago
