When first pouring a slight violet tinge to the wine. full on the mouth and juicy. Smells of black cherry, black currant, slightly jammy. Also strong sage with cigar box/cedar and bacon fat. Like it. As to tastes, sour cherry, leather, black pepper and a touch of vanilla. Sourish notes being the dominant taste.
Good length and reasonable balance. Very enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Excellent SB nose w/bright acidity. — 8 years ago
Some lovely minerality and lemon on the front. Some roundness but not to rich. This is a fantastic Fall white. A lot of barely ripe peach and lemon makes this just bracing enough without being to edgy. Love it — 9 years ago
Fresh and racy approach to Chardonnay which could use a little more creaminess to carry it through the finish as it falls a bit short. Otherwise nice stuff. — 9 years ago
Crisp and refreshing, hints of pear and light minerals! Perfect with a mild Brie, blue and cheddar cheese! — 5 years ago

Saving the best for last from our friend’s personal collection this 💯 % balanced Chilean Syrah exceeds expectations. Big, smooth loaded with black and blueberries, tastes of burnt wooden matches, hints of vanilla, exotic spices finishes with wonderfully long and layered lingering legs. — 6 years ago
Cooler climate in style. Light and flavorful. Varietally correct. — 8 years ago
Sticking with the pinot's I have opened the 2013 Tabali Talinay Coastal Limestone Vineyard Pinot Noir from Chile.
On the nose there are beautiful fruit and complex notes of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, floral notes of violet, vanilla, light oak and an earthy component.
On the palate a wonderful notes of cranberry, raspberry, cherry, forest soil and a bit of minerality.
This is a medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that leads to a lovely long crisp finish with good fruit right to the end. It just doesn't seem to want to quit and it will carry you right into the next sip. I am totally into this wine and may have to go and purchase a few more bottles. Have a wonderful rest of your week and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 9 years ago

Smells fantastic- very strong fruit smell. Full bodied taste. Enjoyed a lot on the honeymoon at Bridges — 6 years ago
Young and slightly closed up. Lots of smells such as light pepper/spice, blackberry, plum, bramble, cigar box, sweet pipe tobacco, black olive, cured meat etc. On the palate, still dense with black fruits, a touch of oakiness, pum and peppery spice. A full bodied wine with a good length length. Overall, whilst not yet developed, excellent. — 7 years ago

This is 100 percent Cabernet Franc that is grown at 820 feet and spent 12 months in French Oak. The nose shows; ripe blackberries, strawberries, dark cherries, vanilla, cinnamon, red florals, red licorice and soft loamy dry soils. Tannins are M+. Blackberries, dark cherries, cocoa powder, expresso, dark chocolate, poached strawberries, dark moist earth, a little leather and beautiful red & pink florals. This wine will stun some palates after 8-10 years in the bottle. — 9 years ago
