Black cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruit. Floral wine with roses, tobacco and tar. Delicious Barbaresco, which was Highly Recommended by Wine Spectator. — 5 years ago
The 2010 Esprit de Beaucastel from Tablas Creek was a tough act to follow, but this elegant Rhône blend from Sonoma just did that.
The nose was quite similar with aroma of blue fruits and earthy elements with hint of violet, it was the palate that set it apart: soft, complex and deep, with great texture and beautiful acidity that adds the tension. Elegant and seamless.

Really smooth, enjoyable, great for red meat. Hope I can find another bottle of this!!!
Edit: it's especially delicious on day 2 after some home made pulled pork taco. — 6 years ago
Grateful for the opportunity to taste. — 7 years ago
This is great. Huge fruit, jam with tannin, some dirt in a great way, there’s a nice vegetable/herbal component that is wonderful. Overall restrained in a huge way if that makes sense. Well done! Also better on night 2. — 4 years ago

Perfect way to come home after my 17-hour day!! — 8 years ago
My wife and I had the 2011 after recommendation from her brother who is well versed on wines. This was a great wine with veal that we prepared at home. We had the pleasure of eating lunch at the family's restaurant in Vienna a few months ago and enjoyed the experience and personnel immensely. This is an intense wine but very smooth with plum, black cherry and other complex fruity flavors. In short a great Tuscan wine. We were able to get this for just under $90 at our local Total Wine store. We are waiting to enjoy the bottles of the 2012 that are in the wine cabinet. — 8 years ago
Crisp and light! Exactly what I was looking for to compliment a homemade fish and chips night. — 4 years ago

Deep deep flavour for a pinot. Cherry at the end of many delicious layers. 2016 with xmas turkey. — 5 years ago
A full-body Pinot! Deep Ruby with berry aromas, floral and garden spice. On the palate ripe strawberry and dried cherry fruit with vanilla spice and cedar notes. The wine is well structured, silky smooth tannins, balanced acidity carry the wine to a lingering spicy finish. Very Nice! — 6 years ago
Delicious cab drunk at home w Paul. — 7 years ago
Great tanninic structure. Hints of smoke and black cherry. Only regret is that I may never again taste this limited edition bottling. — 7 years ago
2012 on march21, 2017 after a one hour decant. Wow, rose petals, bright acidity, more earthy than fruity, medium body. I really like that it's 12.6% Alc. Extremely small production ( 588 bottles ). — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and lemon citrus, oak and vanilla, smooth with a crisp texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with citrus fruit and sweet savory mineral character. — 3 years ago
